Before purchasing, measure your existing duct's outer diameter and choose the panel size accordingly.

The louvered airflow design, combined with a sloped bottom for drainage, allows rain and condensation to flow naturally, meeting general outdoor wall installation requirements. For heavy rain or extreme weather like typhoons, it’s recommended to use it with building-provided rain protection.

To improve the seal between the panel and wall, you can apply some sealant on the back where it touches the wall (sealant not included). For routine checks, open the panel or observe from inside to see if the flap opens and closes smoothly. If dust or lint collects on the insect screen, gently brush it off or vacuum from the outside. Cleaning every 3–6 months is recommended to keep vents clear.
- 5. Specifically for dryer vent use — This product is designed for household dryer exterior vents, for exhausting moisture and heat. Do not use it for kitchen range hoods, gas water heater exhaust, or other harmful gas systems, as this could affect performance or create safety risks.
- 6. Installation conditions and operating tips — To ensure the flap fully opens, the total duct length should not exceed 10 meters, and the number of bends should be minimized. Long ducts or too many bends increase airflow resistance, which may prevent the flap from fully opening and affect venting. If the flap fails to close properly or the insect screen gets damaged, check and replace parts promptly to maintain protection.
